酒店反映过去、吸引现在、见证未来,是独特的日本体验,人们能通过感官之旅与东京和日本的故事相连。
The interior design of Andaz Tokyo is a collaboration between Tony Chi and Japanese design master Shinichiro Ogata, with Tony Chi in charge of the lobby, lounge, guest rooms and restaurant. Inspired by the essence of Japan, the hotel redefines the hotel experience and serves as a community center in a transitional area of Tokyo, reflecting and expanding the Andaz brand definition.
Located in the Toranomon Hills area of Tokyo, which is transforming from a business community to a diverse one, the hotel explores the evolution from a traditional hotel concept to a new experience where workers, residents and travelers gather to create memories.
The design vision is to create an intimate Japanese experience, with washi paper playing a dominant role, reflecting Japan’s relationship with nature and the harmony of native materials. Washi paper runs through all spaces in the hotel, paired with elements like walnut, basalt stone and bronze, which are subtle in simplicity, comforting in harmony and amazing in contrasting tones.
Andaz Tokyo reflects the past, captivates the present and witnesses the future. It offers a unique Japanese experience, allowing people to connect with the stories of Tokyo and Japan through a sensory journey.
